Eurselene "Peaches" Reid

Peaches a long time resident of Long Beach went to be with The Lord Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at Hancock Medical Center in Bay St Louis, Mississippi. Peaches never met a stranger. She was known to many as GRANNY at the Family Grocery. Her strongest attribute was her love for The Lord and second, her family. Her greatest accomplishment in life was a loving wife, a wonderful mother, and an Amazing grandmother. Peaches was loved by many. Her loving, tender heart touched many lives.
Peaches was preceded in death by her husband Ernest (Bud) Reid; a daughter, Susan Reid; a grandson, Leonard (Wayne)Reid, Jr.; her parents, Jim and Dollie Elrod; two brothers, Harold and Arvis Elrod; and a sister, Edna Ladner.
She is survived by three children, Leonard (Buddy) Reid, Sr., of Petal, Linda Bailey (Richard) of Diamondhead, and Norma Moran (Carl) of Long Beach; her seven grandchildren, Jackie Soden (Clay) of Wren, Randy Reid (Marie) of Biloxi, Robyn Gholoni (John) of Lyman, Kevin Moran (Joan) of Long Beach, Brian Bailey (Sara) of Hattiesburg, Eric Moran (Sabrina) of Pass Christian, Richelle Bybee (Travis) of Pass Christian; 15 great grandchildren; 20 great-great grandchildren; with another grandson expected in August; many nieces and nephews that loved her; one loving sister, Cleo Warden of Long Beach; loving sisters and brothers-in law, Faye Elrod of Pass Christian, Mrs. Eula Harmon of Atlanta GA, Jean Hughes (Dr. John) of Conyers, GA, Bill Reid (Alida) of Mobile, AL, and Agnes Reid of Mobile. AL.
There will be a visitation on Friday, May 24, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Rd., Long Beach, from 10:00-11:00 a.m., with a funeral service in the chapel at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
