Eugene Niolet, born on July 14, 1943, passed away September 26, 2015 at the age of 72.
Living his entire life on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Eugene loved fishing, crabbing and spending time on the water with family and friends.
Eugene was an active board member of the Farm Bureau for Harrison County as well as President of the Water Sewer Board. He retired from Casino Magic. He was a lifelong resident of Pass Christian.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Laurlice and Lacey Niolet.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Jerry Niolet; his four children, Andrew (Courtney) Niolet, Kelvin (Tammy) Niolet, Jerome (Elaine) Niolet, and Rachel Singleton; his sister, Carolyn (Richard) Cuevas; and many nieces and nephews. He was blessed to be ""Papa"" to eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
He will be missed by all who loved him.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln-DeLisle Road, Pass Christian. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Pass Christian. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
