Eugene "Gene" Coyle Kelley, a native of Clearfield, PA., and a resident of D'Iberville, MS., passed away on April 10, 2017 in Biloxi, MS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Louise Kelley; his wife of 37 years, Mary Kelley; sister, Irene Hubler; and a brother, Robert Kelley.
Gene is survived by three sisters, Betty Martell of Grand Island, NY., Delores Barnett and Darlene Fry both of Clearfield, PA; two brothers, Richard Kelley of Garner, NC., Joe Kelley of Buffalo, NY, and longtime caregiver Carol Redmond.
Gene worked as a coal miner early in life, but later became a boat captain, which was the job he loved most.
The family would like to thank the staff at Pillars of Biloxi, MS for the care and compassion shown to Gene while in their care.
