Eugene ""Buddy"" Craig, PawPaw, age 60, passed away in Gulfport MS on December 28, 2013.
He was a lifetime resident of the coast. He started his own roofing business at an early age and it was still in operation until his death. During this time he had the opportunity to interact with many people but he never once met a stranger. His ""office"" was at his favorite booth at the Waffle House, He was a creature of habit and you always knew where to find him. He enjoyed restoring classic cars and trucks with his boys and never passed up the chance to stop at any and all car shows including ""cruising the coast"". His greatest enjoyment was spending time with friends and family, starting with his ""heart and soul"" as he called her, Stephanie ""Baby Girl"" Craig. His youngest son Stephen, his oldest son Lil' Buddy and PawPaw's Lil' monkey Jasmine, whom he loved ""to the moon and back"". He was a brother to Diane (deceased), David, Barbara, Peggy and Joan. He was an Uncle to a slew of nieces and nephews, either by blood, marriage or ""adoption"".
He was a wonderful man, husband and father/pawpaw. He will be loved and missed by all.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 2:30 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport, with a visitation for family and friends from 12:30 PM until the service. Burial will follow at Wolf River Cemetery.
