Ethel LaRue Prescott went to be with the Lord on November 27, 2012 in Gulfport.
She was born in Zwolle, LA and has been a resident of Gulfport since 1940. She and her husband Bob owned and operated Prescott's Restaurant on 25th Avenue in Gulfport for many years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert ""Bob"" Prescott; her parents, John and Maggie LaRue; her brothers, Ray LaRue, Jack LaRue, and Eugene LaRue.
Survivors include her sister, May Dwyer of San Francisco, CA; her son, Butch Prescott of Gulfport; her grandson, Stefan Prescott of Gulfport; her granddaughter, Christina Prescott of Gulfport; and her great grandchild, Brittany Prescott.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am, with a visitation one hour prior, Saturday, December 1, 2012 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. Burial will follow at Southern Memorial Park in Biloxi.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to Feed My Sheep, Post Office Box 6883, Gulfport, MS 39506.
