Ethel (Mrs. Clarence E.) Hall, age 89 and a resident of Saucier, died on Sunday, March 7, 2010, in Gulfport.
Mrs. Hall was a resident of the MS Gulf Coast for the past 59 years, and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Saucier, where she enjoyed cooking turkey and dressing and chocolate pies for their Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners. Mrs. Hall was a very caring, loving, and giving person, who will always be remembered for her wonderful biscuits.
Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her parents, William J. & Hattie O'Neal Hall; her husband of 43 years, Clarence E. Hall and numerous siblings.
She is survived by her daughter, which was her best friend and caregiver, Barbara (Charles) Copeland of Gulfport; her son, William James (Pat) Hall of Nashville, TN; her sister, Joyce Sanders of Bogalusa, LA; her grandchildren, Chuck (Lynne) Copeland of Saucier, Jamie (Tony) Bailey of Harrison, TN, and Greg Copeland of Saucier; her great grandchildren, Cassie Copeland, Brantley Copeland, and Mason Copeland all of Saucier; her great great granddaughter, CassaMarina Copeland of Saucier; her brothers-in-law, Reese (Ann) Harvey of McHenry, Ara Jay (Rose Marie) Harvey of Oxford, and her special brother-in-law, Reggie (Darlene) Harvey of Biloxi; her special sister-in-law, Vivian Hall of Jackson, numerous nieces and nephews, including her special nieces, Ruth Wallace, Teresa Simmons, Genevia White, and Ineva Hutchinson; and her special nephews, Chester Hall, Shelton Hall, and Bobby Sanders.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at the Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Saucier.
