Ethel Mary Cuevas, age 85, of Pass Christian, MS, passed away on Friday, February 1, 2013.
Mrs. Cuevas was born to Lester and Rebecca Lizana Cuevas and was a lifelong resident of Pass Christian. She was a homemaker and member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. She was the heart of her family, was dearly loved, and will be deeply missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lecter J. Cuevas; her parents; siblings, Earl Cuevas, Irma Cuevas, and Levern Cuevas.
She is survived by her children, Elaine Ladner, Barbara Jane ""Janie"" Postier (Norm), Judy Cuevas, and Lecter J. ""Bubby"" Cuevas, Jr. (Jewel); brother, Huey ""Buddy"" Cuevas, Sr.; eight grandchildren, Cindy Repp, DeWayne Malley, Lisa Harper, David Malley, Shannon Malley, Sharon Blaize, Wade and Ward Cuevas; 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 4, 2013, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln Delisle Road, from 6-9 pm.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Kiln Delisle Road, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be two hours prior in the church.
Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
