Esther Anne Chandler

Esther Anne Peachey Chandler, age 94, of Gautier, passed away on May 29, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Oliver C. Chandler; and her parents, Ruth Schrag Peachey and Stephen M. Peachey.

Ester is survived by her daughter, Dawn Marie Wenger Youmans (Joe), of Florida; her grandchildren, Nicole Cheri Gerl (Matthew) of Florida; her great grandsons, Jacen and Eli Gerl; 4 stepchildren, 13 step grandchildren, and 4 step great-grandchildren.

Esther achieved her master’s degree in music and retired from D’Iberville Middle School where she was the music teacher, a voice coach, she was also a master pianist and organist at local venues. Her hobbies included local theater, classical music, and traveling worldwide. She was the resident organist for Beauvoir United Methodist Church in Biloxi.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 31, 2024, at Biloxi National Cemetery.
