Errol Lagasse

Errol Christian Lagasse passed away at his home Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at the age of 100.

He was a life-long Mason and a Veteran of WWII in the U.S. Coast Guard with Rank of Chief Petty Officer. Errol formed a successful business and retired to Panama City Beach, FL where he helped form the first Mardi Gras Carnival Krew. He was the first King of Domonique Youx.

Errol was preceded by his beloved wife of 59 years, Shirley Lagasse and his parents, Chris Lagasse and Irma Schmidt Lagasse.

He is survived by his sons, Rodney Lagasse and Larry Lagasse; grandsons, Chris Lagasse and Ben Lagasse; and 5 great grandchildren.
