Ernest Donald "Panko" Norris

Ernest Donald ""Panko"" Norris, age 92, passed away after a brief illness at St. Joseph Hospice on Saturday, October 8, 2016. He worked at America Linen, Hancock Bank and he was a volunteer at Gulfport Memorial Hospital and a member of St. Therese Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Annie and Ernest Norris of Pass Christian; a brother, Luke Norris; three sisters, Barbara Norris Contras, Jerry Norris Perry, Lillian Norris Daily; a son, Jerry Michael Norris; and an infant daughter, Elizabeth Ann.
Mr. Norris is survived by his wife, Ethel Pucheu Norris; a son, Donald Norris Sr. (Julie); a daughter, Joy Holley; two grandsons, Don Norris Jr. and Damon Norris (Katja), two step-grandchildren, Jay Ellis (Kim), and Beckett Dutil; two great-grandsons; several step great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and two sisters, Jeanette Norris Hagen (Jerry) and Mary Norris Rogers (Eugene).
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to the St. Vincent dePaul Pharmacy, 715 Division Street, Biloxi, MS 39530.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 10, 2016 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at St. Therese Catholic Church with a visitation for family and friends one hour prior to Mass. Interment will follow in Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
