A cherished resident of Gulfport, Eric was a man of many admirable qualities, known for his unwavering spirit and kind-hearted nature. He had dedicated a notable career to GCP Laboratories, where his contributions were deeply valued by colleagues and the community alike.
Eric’s commitment extended beyond his professional life; he honorably served in the United States Navy, embodying the values of duty and sacrifice that resonate deeply within all who have served. His educational journey, which culminated in graduation from both high school and college, laid the foundation for a life defined by curiosity and accomplishment.
An avid motorcyclist, Eric embraced the open roads with a sense of adventure that inspired many. His passion for life was palpable, resonating with friends and family who admired his zest for experience and the thrill of new horizons. Eric cultivated a wide circle of friends, all of whom will dearly miss his infectious spirit and the warmth he brought to their lives.
He leaves behind a tapestry of memories woven among his living family and friends. Tony Fuller and Barbara Fuller, both of Ocean Springs, MS, along with Ginger Harrison of California and Sandra Braham of West Virginia, will cherish the moments shared and bonds forged over the years.
Eric is reunited in eternal rest with his beloved family members who have preceded him. He is survived by the loving memory of his parents, Johnnie and Cecile Holder, his sister, Barbara Harrison, and his cherished son, Steven Holder. Their absence serves as a poignant reminder of the love that once flourished and the laughter that will echo in their hearts forever.
As we gather to honor his life, friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the visitation, held on July 7, 2025, at Riemann Family Funeral Home in Gulfport, MS, from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A graveside service will take place the following day, July 8, at Gulf Pines Cemetery in Long Beach, MS, starting promptly at 11:00 AM, as we lay him to rest amidst the beauty of the Mississippi landscape that he so dearly loved.
Eric Holder’s legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him, a testament to a life well-lived and a spirit that remains vibrant even in absence. His memory will forever be a light guiding us through the winding paths of our lives.
