Emory Edward Turan

Emory Edward Turan, age 86, passed away June 5, 2015 at Garden Park Hospital in Gulfport.
Emory was born on July 24, 1928, was a graduate of Saucier High School, and resided in Gulfport. Emory was a Senior Serviceman for Entex Gas until he retired. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jeff Turan, stepfather, Elzie Taylor, his mother, Leola Taylor, his brother, W.J. (Margaret) Turan, his sister, Velma (Joe) Fore, his son, David Turan, and his grandson's Michael Turan and Jason Lee.
Emory is survived by his loving wife, Murnie (Polly) Turan, his son, Ronnie (Terry) Turan, his grandchildren, Amanda (Bill) Hansen, and Ryan Turan, his nephews, Olen (Carol) Fore and Kevin (Debra) Turan, his niece, Vicky Turan, and 8 great-grandchildren.
He will be sadly missed but in our hearts forever.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 12, 2015, at 2pm at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport, where friends may visit one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Evergreen Gardens in Gulfport.
