Mrs. Emma Lorine Johnson, 83, of Gulfport, died Tuesday, March 7, 2006 in Gulfport.
She was born on May 28, 1922 in Foster, Oklahoma and married her husband John Johnson on May 3, 1943 and a Gulfport resident since 1987. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazerene in Gulfport, Mrs. Johnson was a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Robert Carr and Maggie Covington Douthit and numerous brothers and sisters.
She is survived by her husband, John Johnson of Gulfport, her children, Elaine McNally of Santa Anna, CA, Janice Gregor of Newport Beach, CA, Sherry Brotherton of Queen Creek, AZ, Verna Nyers of Gulfport and Lori Jensen of San Clemente, CA, a sister, June Beeson of Moore, OK, ten grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 8, 2006, 4:30 -7:30 p.m. at Gulf Coast Funeral Homes.
Memorials may be made to the First Church of the Nazerene Building Fund 1901 22nd Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39501.
She will be sent from Gulf Coast Funeral Homes to Wooster Funeral Home in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma for services and burial on Saturday.
