Elvin Holley

Elvin Tex Holley, age 74, of D'Iberville, passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2017.
Elvin loved to dance, especially the Jitterbug, and travel to the mountains. He enjoyed the Mardi Gras season and Crusin' the Coast. He shared a love for music with his many friends. He was a loving father and grandfather and a caring and giving person. Elvin was the owner/operator of E and M Towing Company.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Holley Sr. and Nettie Holley; and his siblings, Howard Holley Jr., Dolphie Holley, Dorothy Holley Sherman, Delmas Holley, James "Sonny" Holley, Joyce Holley Olier, Jackie Holley, and Harvey L. Holley.
Elvin is survived by his longtime friend, Susan Holley Cone; the love of his life, Olive "Ollie" Foster of D'Iberville; his children, Timmy Elvin Holley, Linda McDaniel, and Michael Holley, all of D'Iberville; his siblings, Christine Holley Brosh of Vancleave, and Marilyn Ann Holley of Gautier; his five grandchildren, Chrystal McDaniel, Michael "Tee" Holley Jr., Regan Holley, Jayden Holley, and Ava Holley; and his five great-grandchildren, Ashlyn "AJ" McDaniel, Jullian Flowers, Jordyn Saunders, Branson Holley, and Mayzie Holley.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. at Washington Ave., Ocean Springs. The funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2017 with a visitation for family and friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in D'Iberville Memorial Park.
