Elizabeth Veronica Martinek

Mrs. Elizabeth (Lee) Martinek, 96, of Long Beach died Sunday, April 21, 2013.
Lee was born in Bound Brook, New Jersey on August 8, 1916. She and her late husband, John, moved to Long Beach in 1998 and were members of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Long Beach.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John, her parents and a brother. She is survived by her sister, Catherine Hartman of Brooksville, FL, sons Charles Martinek (Linda) of Long Beach and Kenneth Martinek (Donna) of Greentown, PA, and daughter Karen Tucker (Mike) of Oronogo, MO along with 9 grandchildren, Mark Martinek of Long Beach, Lisa Tait of Greentown, PA, Jennifer Karpiak and Jaime Martinek of Greeley, PA, Kim Miller of Tooele, UT, Dorothea Jeffery of Winnemucca, NV, John Peardon of Willow Springs, MO, Michael Peardon of Gainesville, Mo, and Clinton Peardon of Rogersville, MO, and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at St. Thomas Church in Long Beach on Thursday, April 25 at 1:30 followed by internment next to her husband in the Long Beach Cemetery.
The family wishes to acknowledge the loving care provided by Greg Sullivan and his staff at A Connected Heart during Lee's last few years and the passionate services of Pinnacle Hospice.
