Elise Vera Jensen Little, 86, of Gulfport, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016 in Gulfport after a courageous battle with lung and liver cancer.
Mrs. Little was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Frederick Eugene Little; her parents, Henry and Valborg Jensen; her daughter, Linda Ann Little; and her brother, Bernard Jensen.
She is survived by her three daughters, Lisa Little and Sheryl Little Moran, both of Gulfport, and Deborah Little East and her husband, Keith of Saucier; five grandchildren, Starlight Ray Marciano and her husband David, Elisha Gold, Lindsey East, Kyle East and Kaila Moran; two great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Benjamin Marciano; and her brother, Henry Jensen and his wife, Audrey of North Carolina; and her sister-in-law, Clarice Jensen of New Jersey.
Mrs. Little was a native of Staten Island, NY and was a long-time resident of Gulfport. She loved being out in the sunshine and when she had the opportunity, traveling and shopping. She used to be an avid roller and ice skater, and a water-skier. She always loved to reminiscence and tell about her life activities and interests.
Mrs. Little was of the Dutch Reformed faith and she was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
The family will celebrate her life with a private memorial at a later date. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
