Eliane Kirchwehm, age 93, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, creativity, and service to others. Born in Mulhouse, France, Eliane carried her love of culture, learning, and the arts throughout her remarkable life.
Eliane earned her Bachelor of Arts degree and enjoyed a distinguished career as a radio personality, where her warmth, intelligence, and engaging voice touched the lives of many listeners.
Eliane was a trailblazer in the world of real estate. She also had a vision for the future, including bottling natural sparkling water in the 60s, which is now world-famous and sold around the world. She was charming, and her voice made listening to the news, a pleasant event. In particular the Algerian War of Independence.
Throughout her life, Eliane devoted herself to serving her community and humanitarian causes. She served as the Director of SOS Beaulieu, where her leadership and dedication positively impacted countless lives. She was also actively involved with numerous charitable organizations, including the ASPCA and Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), as well as many other charitable causes. Her lifelong commitment to helping others reflected her compassionate heart and generous spirit.
A gifted author, writer, and artist, Eliane found great joy in expressing herself through literature and the visual arts. Her creativity, curiosity, and passion for learning inspired everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Eliane was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ward Kirchwehm, with whom she shared a lifetime of love and devotion.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving daughter, Minouche Perry; her beloved grandchildren, Camille Isaacson and Armand Perry; and her treasured great-granddaughter, Isabelle Isaacson.
Eliane will be remembered for her kindness, intelligence, artistic talent, unwavering generosity, and her tireless commitment to making the world a better place. Her legacy of love, service, and creativity will continue to live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
Though she is no longer with us, her compassion, wisdom, and enduring spirit will remain an inspiration for generations to come. She will be deeply loved, forever remembered, and greatly missed.
