Eleanor H. Danhoffer, age 95 and a resident of Long Beach, died on April 4, 2016, in Pass Christian.
She had been a resident of Long Beach since 1983 and was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Gulfport, where she was an active member of the Lutheran Women's Missionary League.
Mrs. Danhoffer was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Goldie Johnson Oedzes; her husband, Joseph A. Danhoffer; her sister, Dorothy J. Nack and two nephews, Gary Nack and Ronnie Nack.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara ""Barbie"" (Scott) Balyeat of Long Beach and a family friend of Dorothy Nack, Duane George and his daughter, Mona Foy both of Sarasota, FL.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016, at 1pm at St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Gulfport.
Riemann Family Funeral Home, 19130 Commission Road in Long Beach, served the family.
