Elaine Eldridge Wells

Elaine Wells, age 94, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2014. Visitation will be held from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 12 at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road in Gulfport. The Funeral Service will follow at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
Burial will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 13 at Hollywood Cemetery in McComb, MS.
Elaine Eldridge Wells, born 9/22/1919, passed on Thursday, March 7th at the tender age of 94. She was the last of her 11 siblings. She was a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was loved by all who met her and will be sorely missed. Her longevity is attributed to her love for her family and her positive attitude on life. She had one child, JJ Wells, Jr., who passed on two days after her. She is preceded in death by her husband, JJ Wells, who passed in 1982. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Cindy (along with her children Donya, Rossie, and Kerry, and eight grandchildren); her grandsons James, Michael, and Alan; her five great-grandchildren; nephews Donny and Truette Brown; and many other family members across several states.
