Elaine Christine Ladner

Elaine Garriga Ladner, age 77, of Pass Christian, passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2013, in Gulfport.
Elaine was born on October 20, 1935. She graduated from St. Joseph Catholic School and was an active member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. Mrs. Ladner worked for the City of Pass Christian Water Dept., and then later worked for Dr. Charles Taylor in Pass Christian for many years.
Elaine was preceded in death by her father, Melvin Garriga, and Mother, Hilda Garriga.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Everett J. Ladner; one daughter, Denise Ladner Seay (Russell); 3 granddaughters, Jessica Seay Hudson (Hugh), Brittany Seay, and Meghan Seay; 4 great grandchildren, Gabriel Hudson, Eli Hudson, Kyndle Hudson, and Evelyn Bounds; brothers Vernon and Neil Garriga; one sister, Judy Garriga; seven greatly loved stepsisters and stepbrothers; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends are invited to a visitation with the family from 6:00 to 9:00pm, September 3, 2013 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Rd, Long Beach, MS. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 pm, with a visitation two hours prior, on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Holy Family Parish, Menge Ave., Pass Christian, MS. Burial will follow mass in Biloxi National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mrs. Elaine Ladner's name may be made to the new St. Paul's Catholic Chapel in Pass Christian.
