Elaine Elizabeth Brechtel, affectionately known as Lainey, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 11, 2026, at her home in Saucier, Mississippi. She was born on March 10, 1957, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Her memory will be honored at a visitation held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Riemann Family Funeral Home in Gulfport, Mississippi. The funeral home is located at 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS 39503, where friends and family will gather to pay their respects and celebrate Elaine’s life.

While this is a time of sorrow, it is also an occasion to remember and reflect upon the many quiet yet profound ways Elaine touched the lives of those around her. Her legacy is one of love and kindness, qualities that will continue to inspire all who had the privilege to know her.

Elaine Elizabeth Brechtel’s passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to share in her life. She is remembered with great respect and enduring affection.
