Edwin H. ""Red"" Winstead, 86, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015 in Gulfport.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ouida Louise Winstead; parents, Edwin Howard Winstead and Sarah Louvie Caughman.
He was survived by his son, Davis Winstead of Clinton; daughter, Sarah Wallen (Len) of Gulfport;2 sisters, Agnes Griffith of Starkville and Hellen Parish of Carson; brother, Rev. Allen Winstead (Wilma) of Lucedale; 5 grandchildren, Davis A. Winstead, Jr., Jennings Winstead, Lenzee Perez, Laynee VanArsdall and Natalie Wallen; 2 great-grandchildren, Greyson Wallen and Oliver Perez.
Funeral service will be held Monday, October 19, 201 at 10:00 A.M. at Trinity Methodist Church in Gulfport. A visitation will be held at the church starting at 9:00 AM. until service time. A burial will be held at Prentiss Cemetery in Prentiss, MS at 2:30 P.M. RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS in serving the family.
