Edwin May

Edwin L. May, Sr, age 86, of Long Beach, passed away on August 4, 2016.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nona May; his parents, Myrtis Langston Turner and Harvey May; and a brother, Jhue May.
He is survived by his children, Lee May and his partner, Tony, and Edgie Dorris and her husband, Paul, all of Long Beach, and Eric May and his wife, Stephanie, of Pass Christian; three grandchildren, Steven Money, Alex May, and Julieanne May; and a sister, Frances Shank of Roseville, CA.
He was veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served in the Korean War. A true gentleman, he was a great husband, father, and grandfather. He was an excellent craftsman. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Gulfport.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 8, 2016 at Noon at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 19130 Commission Road, Long Beach with a visitation for family and friends from 11:00 AM until the service. Burial with military honors will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
