Edward Leonard Oatis, age 75, of Pass Christian, passed away on May 28, 2015.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Edward Oatis, and his mother, Mae Phelps Oatis.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Erin Patricia ""Patty"" Killelea Oatis, 3 children, Keith Edward Oatis (Nancy Fish), Kevin Matthew Oatis (Renee Oatis), Lauri Oatis Schaff (William Schaff), 5 grandchildren, Ryan Oatis, Holli Oatis (Robby Thoulion), Brandon Schaff, Nicole Schaff (Nolan Leenders), and Ashleigh Oatis, 2 great-grandchildren, Michael Oatis, and Kody Thoulion, and other relatives and friends.
He was retired from the New Orleans Public Service after 30 years, he was an active officer with the Krewe of Centurion, and was a member of multiple street rod clubs.
A celebration of his life will be held at the family residence.
Memorials may be sent to the American Heart Association.
