Edith Faye Lizana

Edith Faye Lizana, age 72, of Gulfport, passed away unknown to us but known to God on August 11, 2016, without pain and with family and friends by her side.
Faye's last days were spent at home enjoying time with her caregivers and friends watching some of her favorite kind of television-old movies, news, weather, and Christian messages. She loved her Saint's and was excited about football season starting. After a life well lived, Faye is now reunited with her beloved Larry. Faye will be remembered as a loving mom, mawmaw, sister, aunt, and friend. Faye was a lifelong member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Larry Lizana, her parents, Clyde William Jones and Velma Earsel Odom Jones, Paw Paw and Maw Maw Lizana, sisters, Joann Schepens, Angie Newman, and Dorothy Dunaway, brothers, Charles Jones, and William ""Squeaky"" Jones.
Faye is survived by her son, Chuck Lizana and his wife Praveena, her son, Mike and his wife Renee, her grandchildren, Nisha (Chase) Anderson, Marisa Lizana, Chase Lizana, Curt Lloyd, and Kiley Lizana, her siblings, David (Kathy) Jones, Mickey (Darlene) Jones, John (Sally) Jones, Wanda (Danny) Martin, Lelia (Pete) Hamilton, her ""sons"" Kirt, Kevin, Kendall, Keith, and Kerwin Cuevas, and many other nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The family would like to say a special thank you to her caregivers and friends who made it possible for Faye to enjoy living in her home until God called her to her home in Heaven.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:30 pm Monday, August 15, 2016, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 1:30 - 2:30 pm in the church. Burial will be in Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens.
