Edithmae ""Eddie"" Caster, age 101, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2012, in Biloxi.
Mrs. Caster was an accomplished musician and at age 14, began playing the organ at church. She also played the accordion and while living in Indianapolis, she performed at radio stations and enjoyed singing in the church choir. Mrs. Caster enjoyed reading, crocheting, knitting, and painting ceramics. She was a member of Nugent United Methodist Church and the Daughters of the Nile.
Mrs. Caster was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Arthur Caster, her parents, Richard Earl Sprague and Daisy Sprague, a brother, Richard Sprague, and a sister, Ellen Trusty.
Survivors include her children, Linda (Clarence) LeVelle, Saucier, Arthur Caster, Science Hill, KY, and Richard (Rhondda Klein) Caster, Dubai, UAE, a brother, Bill Sprague, Jamestown, RI, 9 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, and 2 loving puppies, ""Prince"" and ""Lil Bit"".
A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Sunday, December 16, 2012, at Nugent United Methodist Church, John Clark Rd., Gulfport.
