Earl Waltman, Sr.

Earl Gene Waltman, Sr., age 68, of Pass Christian, passed away on April 19, 2022.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lucy Jean Waltman; his father, Earl Waltman; a brother, Rickey Waltman; and his mother-in-law, Helen C. Ladner.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Mary Elaine Waltman; his children, Earl Gene Waltman, Jr (Dena), Ryan Russell Waltman (Jennifer), Mary Jo Ann Hampton (Matthew), and Beth Ann England; his siblings, Cynthia Saucier, Stewart Lee Waltman, Olivia Waltman, and Willa Faye Waltman; 9 grandchildren, Ryan Zachary Russell Waltman, Breanna Marie Waltman (John), Kimberly Beech (Brian), Sarah Waltman, Jacob Waltman, Jahlen Hampton, Gabrielle Hampton, Madalyn Waltman, and James Hayden Nobles; 3 great-grandchildren, Addalyn Beech, Jaxon Beech, and James Grayson Nobles; and other relatives and friends.

Mr. Waltman was a longtime resident of Pass Christian and served in the U.S. Army and later the MS Army National Guard from 1972 – 1986.  He worked as a machinist at Turnbull Industries and he was an avid CB radioman where his handle was “Lowrider” and he also loved to hunt, fish, ride horses, and spend time with his family.  He was a long time member of Highland Baptist Church in Pass Christian.

Visitation will be on Friday, April 22, 2022, from 9 - 11 am at Highland Baptist Church, 8400 Firetower Road, Pass Christian, MS 39571.  The funeral service will be at 11 am in the church.  Interment will be in Wolf River Cemetery.
