Earl Wayne ""Pencil"" Brewer, 62, died Sunday, December 18, 2016 in Pascagoula.
Mr. Brewer was a native of Gulfport and was a resident of Ocean Springs. He was an ER Nurse at Memorial Hospital of Gulfport, an EMT with AMR, and a Deputy with the Harrison County Sheriff's Department. He enjoyed playing the guitar.
Mr. Brewer was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Ward Brewer and his mother, Bonnie Gussie Wheat Brewer. Survivors include his daughter, Kathleen Sharonda Brewer Ponder; granddaughter, Allison Paige Ponder; great-grandson, Matthew Scott Deare, all of Wirtz, VA; son, Patrick Wayne Wendell; granddaughters, Jessica Lynn Tarr-Irrizarry and Amelia Ellen Wendell, all of Beverly, MA; and his caregiver, Karen ""Ralphie"" Gorline.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2017 at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 13872 Lemoyne Blvd. at Washington Ave., Ocean Springs. Burial will be at a later date at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Gulfport.
