Dorothy Bond Switzer, 88, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2016 in Gulfport.
Mrs. Switzer was a life-long resident of Gulfport. She was of the Baptist faith and she enjoyed fishing and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold A. Switzer; parents, Willard and Katie Bond; and her sister, Patsy Busby.
Survivors include her three children, Kenneth A. Switzer (Sharma), Ronnie Switzer (Bettie) and Pamela F. Nevels (David); sister, Helen LaFontaine; 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 5th at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport.
The funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 6th in the funeral home chapel, where friends may visit one hour prior. Burial will follow at Three Rivers Church of God Cemetery.
