Dorothy Marian Lafontaine Prive

Dorothy Marian Lafontaine Prive, age 77, was a native of Lakeshore and was a resident of Gulfport, passed away Monday, August 3, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Prive; her infant daughter, Theresa Lynne Prive; her son, Donald 'Donnie' Prive, her parents, Raymond Lafontaine and Isabelle Green Lafontaine; her three brothers, Clifton Lafontaine, Leroy Lafontaine and Herald 'John' Lafontaine; and her sister, Leatrice 'Latcie' Rasumussen.
Mrs. Prive is survived by her daughters, Doris (Don) Pugh of Austin, TX, Glenda (Michael) Sutphen of Gulfport, MS, and Sharon (Jeff) Bradshaw of Wheatland, CA; her son, Gregory (Monique) Prive of Gulfport, MS; her daughter-in-law, Susan Prive of Gulfport; her sister, Velma 'Weezie' Mackles of Folsom, LA; her brother, Cornelius 'Junior' Lafontaine of Lakeshore, MS; her eleven grandchildren and her six great-grandchildren.
She was homemaker and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Orange Grove.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd, Gulfport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Gulfport with a visitation for family and friends from 10:00 AM until the Mass. Entombment will follow at Lakeshore Cemetery, Lakeshore, MS.
