Dorothy Ann Polacek

Dorothy Ann Polacek, age 82, passed away September 23, 2014 in Gulfport.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edlon ""Al"" Polacek; brother, James Ware; and sister, Mary Richards.
She is survived by her children, Michael Parent of Oregon, David Parent of Gulfport, and Rebekah (David) Desjardins of Florida; her siblings, Leona Brenot of Gulfport, Betty Harris of Florida, and Georgia Lord of Monticello, MS; and her grandchildren, Delaney, Robert, and Emma Desjardins.
Dorothy was a retired registered nurse having worked for Keesler Medical Center for over 20 years as well as other coastal medical facilities. Her hobbies included gardening and sewing.
She had been a member of lifelong member of Handsboro Baptist Church and was an active member of the Mossy Oak Garden Club and the Swinging Starlets.
