Dorothy A. Ladner, age 80, of Pass Christian, passed away on Thursday, December 26, 2013.
Mrs. Ladner was born to Edwin Ladner, Sr. and Louella P. Peterson Ladner in Pass Christian. She was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years, Lloyd Ladner and her parents; siblings, Luvealy Necaise, Florine Lizana, Laurlice Niolet, Rita Ladner, and Kermit Ladner; and son-in-law, Bobby Necaise.
She is survived by her children, Peggy Necaise, Pansy (John) Farve, Norma (Wayne) Smith, and Jimmy (Lou) Ladner; 11 grandchildren, Paula and Barry Necaise, Gary Wayne Ladner, Kellie Waller, Jonathan Farve, Tera Breland, Crystal Ladner, Ashley Buza, Travis and Jeremy Smith, and Sabrina Preston; 19 great grandchildren; two sisters, Laura Ladner and Aletha (Nathan) Hanaker.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2013, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 9113 Kiln DeLisle Road, from 6:00-10:00 p.m. Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, December 30, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church. A procession will leave the funeral home at 1:45 p.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery at Rotten Bayou.
