Dorothy Fay McGinty Adams, age 70, of Saucier and formerly of Yazoo City, MS, passed away Monday, October 3, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her life partner of 32 years, Vircle Cuevas; her parents, Thomas Owen McGinty and Estelle Everett McGinty; her siblings, Thomas McGinty, Paul McGinty, Betty Jean Potts, John Owen McGinty, and James Richard McGinty; and her former brother-in-law, Clyde O. Saxton Sr.
Dorothy is survived by her sons, Michael Ray Adams and Jonathan Edward Adams; her siblings, Mary Frances McCoy, Estelle Petermann and Ivy Miller; her grandchildren, Jordan LeAnne Adams, Jonathan Edward Adams II, Michael Justin Adams, Aero DeLane Adams and Jared Duran Adams; several nieces and nephews; and her faithful dog, Riley Ann.
Dorothy was born September 8, 1946 in Yazoo City, MS. She attended Yazoo City High School and the University of South Mississippi. Dorothy was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Yazoo City.
She was a loving mother and grandmother.
A private graveside service will be held at Wolf River Cemetery, Gulfport.
