Doris Bennett Wyatt

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Doris Bennett Wyatt announces her passing on March 26, 2026. She passed away peacefully at her home.

Doris dedicated her entire adult career to Coast Electric Power Association, where she began working in her teenage years. She faithfully served for 37 years, retiring as General Office Manager. Her dedication and strong work ethic were a testament to her character.

When she was not at work, Doris devoted her life to her family. She poured her love into her daughter and her two granddaughters. There was never a moment that she or her husband missed when it came to those three girls—their lives were truly centered around them. She gave of herself selflessly as a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, showing unconditional love, strength, and sacrifice.

Doris had a special and meaningful role in the lives of her great-grandsons, affectionately known as her “Big Men.” She was a caring and loving Christian whose thoughtful and generous spirit was one of her greatest attributes. She gave freely and with joy, and her compassion extended deeply into her community. She touched the lives of many family members and friends and was an inspiration to all who knew her.

Doris found joy in spending time with family and friends, camping, playing Bunco, and gardening—especially tending to her beloved hydrangeas and Knock Out roses. If there was ever a weed to be found, she was sure to pull it. She was especially known for her joyful Easter celebrations, which brought loved ones together year after year. She and Cleveland were also known for their Fourth of July celebrations, which created lasting memories for all who attended.

Doris was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Cleveland Henry Wyatt; her parents, Sidney Sr. and Etheline Bennett; her brothers, Sidney Bennett Jr. and Harlon Bennett; and her sisters, Margaret (Roy) Cuevas, Josie Bennett, and Barbara (CJ) Cameron.

She is survived by her daughter, Beverly (Wayne) Page; her granddaughters, Jessica (Joseph) Vizzini and Jenna (Eddie) Moran; and her great-grandsons, Wyatt, Parker, and Ripp; a brother, Gene Bennett (Lena), and her sister-in-law, Opal Bennett.
