Doris M. Sellers

Doris Matilda Sellers, age 93, of Diamondhead, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026, surrounded by her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Effie Smith; husband, Charles Sellers; daughter, Deborah Laursen; and eight brothers and sisters.

Doris is survived by her grandson, Matthew Laursen, and his wife, Stacey of Gulfport; great-grandson, Boston Laursen of Picayune; and her son-in-law, Gary Laursen of Diamondhead.

She was a native of Oak Grove, Louisiana, but made her home in Diamondhead. In high school, Doris was on the pep squad, she was a member of the square dancing club, active in church fellowships, and enjoyed playing Bunko with friends.

Doris was a devout Christian who held her faith in our Lord until the end. Married for 47 years, she is finally reunited with her Charles and her daughter Debbie, whom she missed so dearly.

As she would say, "It is well with my soul"
