Doris Marie Necaise

Doris Marie Necaise, age 86, of Rocky Hill Community, passed away on November 22, 2014.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester ""Sap"" Necaise, her parents, Florian and Elder Necaise, 2 brothers, Everette Necaise and Laverne Necaise, 3 sisters, Berniece Necaise, Mazel Necaise, and Melva Necaise, and 2 grandchildren, Bobby Dykes, Jr., and Jerred Necaise.
Survivors include sons, Donald (Becky) Necaise, James (Irene) Necaise, John Necaise, Larry (Yvette) Necaise, Gerard Necaise, and Paul (LarRece) Necaise, 6 daughters, Sylvia (Glen) Walker, Thresia Dykes, Annette (Roland) Ladner, Veronica (Randall) Ladner, Mary (Dewayne) Cade, and Regina (Timothy) Weeks, 3 brothers, Lamar (Lynette) Necaise, Dougas (Linda) Necaise, and Charles (Becky) Necaise, and 3 sisters, Myra (Provis) Peterson, Helen (Ronnie) Jones, and Etha Mae Haro. She is also survived by her ""precious jewels"" 29 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous relatives and friends.
She enjoyed reading and word search puzzles. She was an avid Christian woman who was devoted to her Roman Catholic faith and she loved her family unconditionally.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 24, 2014, from 6 - 10 pm at St. Matthew Catholic Church in White Cypress. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am Tuesday in the church.
Interment will be in Necaise Crossing Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Necaise requested memorials be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
