Doris L. """"Toni"""" Marney, age 84 and a resident of Biloxi, died Saturday, June 16, 2007, in Biloxi.
Mrs. Marney was a native of Fort Worth, Texas, and a longtime resident of the Gulf Coast. She traveled with her husband, Ray, during his career in the U.S. Air Force. They were married 56 years until his passing ten years ago. Mrs. Marney served over 20 years as a volunteer at Biloxi Regional Medical Center, with over 10,000 hours as manager and buyer in the gift shop. In addition to her faithful service in the gift shop, she was devoted to her grandchildren and loved working in the yard.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Marney was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Denise Skrnich; and a sister, Juanita Ingram. She is survived by daughters, Pamela Flynn (Chuck) of Austin, TX; and Patricia Skrnich (Michael), of Biloxi; sister, Bobbie Coon, of Dallas, TX; grandchildren, Michal Murray, John Ring, both of Austin, TX; Dori Skrnich, Kurt Skrnich, both of Biloxi; great-grandchildren, Jenae Ring, Taylor Anne Baker, Meagan Marchioni, and Tanner Marchioni; and a niece, Julie Armstrong, of Dallas, TX.
Visitation will be at THE RIEMANN FAMILY'S Riemann Funeral Home, 274 Beauvoir Road, Biloxi, on Wednesday, June 20, 2007, from 9:30 a.m. until the service at 11:30 a.m. Burial will be in the National Cemetery in Biloxi.
