Doris Iowana Blackwell Kistler, 72, passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2014.
Mrs. Kistler was a lifelong resident of the Coast. She was a retired school bus driver with Harrison County Schools, was a volunteer firefighter and was of the Methodist faith.
Mrs. Kistler was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Wayne Kistler, Sr.; and her parents, Bonnie Blackwell and Iowana Blackwell.
Survivors include her children, Mareanda Weems (Johnny), Wayne Kistler (Beverly), Kayleen Lingane (Pat) and Lorene Harrell (dec. Dewayne); sisters, Shirley Cole and Opal Sue Dale (Morris); 8 grandchildren, Sarah & Jacob Weems, Justin & Brandon Kistler, Margaret & Chris Lingane and Madalyn & Adison Harrell; 4 nieces & nephews; 6 great nieces & nephews and 1 great-great nephew. Her kids, grandkids and nieces and nephews were her pride and joy.
The Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday, November 21 at Blackwell Cemetery.
