Doris Killgore, age 85, a lifelong resident of the Larue community in Vancleave, MS, passed away in Ocean Springs, MS on October 8, 2017.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Howard Killgore, Jr.; her parents, Emory and Maggie Myers; her siblings and their spouses, Ruby and Wayne Watson, O.C and Nell Myers, Clyde Myers, Leo Myers and Clara and Les Meyer..
She is survived by one son, Willie Lee Parker, Jr; grandchildren, Willie Lee Parker, III., and Crystal Rushing; one great grandson; one sister and her husband, Carol Karrine and Jerry McCullan of Colorado Springs, Co.; sisters in law, Joyce Myers of Latimer  and Mary Myers of Texarkana, AR; numerous nieces and nephews and other family members.
Doris attended the Broome School growing up, was employed and retired from Ingal's shipbuilding as a fabricator many years ago.
She loved horseback riding, swimming and working in her garden. Doris was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter in Vancleave, MS, and a member of Larue Baptist Church.
A funeral Service will be held on October 12, 2017, at Larue Baptist Church, 19405 Old Biloxi Rd, Vancleave at 2:00 pm, with visitation from 1:00 pm until service time. Interment will follow in Larue Baptist Church Cemetery
