Doris Elaine Jurgensen

Doris Elaine Jurgensen, age 83, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 in Gulfport.
She was born in McAlester, OK, and a resident of Gulfport, MS for 33 years. She was a former employee of Southwest Bell Co. and the Department of Defense.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Lt. Warren Potter Allen, of the 8th USAAC, of Oklahoma; daughter, Judith (Allen) Thompson of Oklahoma; father, Alvin Latimer of Oklahoma; mother, Mae Lackey of Oklahoma; and her brother, Alvin Latimer of Oklahoma.
Survivors include her husband, Ron Jurgensen of Gulfport; son, Warren Potter Allen, Jr. of Oklahoma, City, OK; daughter, Cindy (Allen) Boatner of McAlester, OK; grandchildren, Tyler Cassidy, Duncan Allen, Warren Potter Allen, IV, Mathew Thompson, and Chandra (Allen) Johnson; and one great grandchild, Genavieve Johnson.
A funeral service will be held at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Rd., Gulfport at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, where friends and family may visit one hour prior to the service.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the Navy Seabee Scholarship Fund.
