Doris Ann Bradley, age 80 of Long Beach, MS passed away February 5th, 2018 in Long Beach. She passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family.
She was a devout parishioner of St. Thomas Catholic Church and faithfully prayed her rosary daily for all those needing prayers, especially her beloved family. Before her illness, she faithfully attended mass and had so many special memories of her time there. She loved her Catholic faith and it was always her desire to follow it faithfully.
One of her first jobs as a teenager was at Woolworths in Biloxi. She also worked at the First National Bank in Biloxi for many years as Secretary to the President of the Bank. Later in life, after raising her children, she worked at the church rectory for St. Thomas as a bookkeeper and then at Reeves Elementary in the front office.
Her job as homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother was her greatest gift throughout the years. Upon retiring from the school in 2000, she lovingly took care of her grandchildren for many years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur L. Broussard and Alice Cormier Broussard. She was the last remaining of her 8 siblings; Mr. Alphege Joseph "Poat" Broussard, Mrs. Olphedia D. "Fida" Huval, Mrs. Ozea Trahan, Mrs. Bertha Hebert, Mrs. Pearl Bosarge, Mrs. Ethel "Tootsie" Comeaux, Mr. Arthur "T-Boy" Broussard (Arlene), and a granddaughter, Rhonda Michelle Lott.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 50 years, Percy W. Bradley. Her daughters, Ethel Lynn Lott (Terry), Dawn Bradley Ladner, Karen B. Hillman (Burton). Her grandchildren Jason Lott (Monica), Jeremy Lott (Kayree), Kristi Nguyen (Phong), Ryan Bradley, Allie Ladner, Emory and Lainey Hillman and great grandchildren, Aiden and Cooper Bradley.
