Doretta E. Hamilton, loving mother to many, departed this life on October 8, 2015.
Born Doretta Ellen Brandes on April 16, 1934 in Wellsburg, IA, she is survived by her children, William J. Hamilton of Rocky Comfort, MO, John E Hamilton of Houston, TX, and Emily Hamilton Marquez of Pass Christian, MS, and two step-sons, David C Hamilton and Ivan G Hamilton, 6 granddaughters and 7 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, David Maurice Hamilton.
She lived in Pearlington until 2005 and moved to Diamondhead, MS, and most recently lived with her daughter and her family in Pass Christian until her passing.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made in her honor to Hope Haven Children's Services.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, October 24, 2015, at Main Street United Methodist Church, Bay St. Louis, MS. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 10:30 am in the church.
