Donnie B. Lott

Donnie B. Lott, 85, of Saucier, MS, passed away on August, 22 2015.
Donnie was an amazing woman with a lot of spunk and a great love of life and she always spoke her mind. For many years Donnie and Jimmie Lott, Sr. owned and operated Lott's Grocery in west Gulfport. Her favorite hobbies included cooking delicious southern dishes, visiting with friends and family, karaoke, Penny Slots and drinking a hot cup of coffee while sitting on the front porch. She truly was a blessing to her family, friends, and everyone who met her.
Donnie was preceded in death by her loving husband: Jimmie D. Lott, Sr., her parents John Oscar Sr. and Winnie Young, her brothers and sisters, John Oscar Jr., Charlene, Melanie, Pauline, Betty, Arnold, and granddaughter, Rhonda Lott.
She is survived by her sister, Eva Hinkel, her loving children, Jimmie D. Jr., ""Butch"" and Linda Lott, Billy and Lou Ann Lott, Terry and Lynn Lott, Donnie and Clyde Ishee, Connie and Gerry Carpenter, Beverly and Larry Dollar. Donnie is also survived by her grandchildren, Greg, Stephen, Jason, Jeremy, and Justin Lott, Kristi Nguyen, Heather Welch, Jimmie E. Madison, and Christopher, Joshua, and Candice Dollar. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, and many loving friends.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 10:00 AM at the Long Beach Community Church, Long Beach with a visitation for family and friends from 9:00 AM until the service. Burial will follow at Gulf Pines Memorial Gardens, Long Beach. Following the graveside service, a birthday celebration for Donnie and a celebration of life and fellowship with friends and family will be held at Long Beach Community Church.
