Donna Marie Torrence Bissett, 79, of Gulfport, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, April 15, 2018.
Donna was a native of Beaver County, Pennsylvania, formerly lived in Michigan and has been a resident of the Mississippi Gulf Coast since 1978. She graduated from Hopewell High School in Hopewell, PA. She enjoyed genealogy, American history, botanicals, gardening, and was a nature lover & observer, and she was the best dessert maker. Donna was of the Presbyterian faith and was a homemaker & nurturer.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Eva Jane Torrence; her brother, Gaylord Torrence; and her two sons, William Edwin Bissett and Stephen Rob Bissett.
She is survived by her husband, William C. Bissett; her three children, Charisse Bissett Foreman, Bruce Bissett and Rachel Bissett (Bryan Ladnier); her two siblings, Sandra Shannon and Karen Winland (George); seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 17 th at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, MS 39503. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be at Wiggins City Cemetery.
