Donald Eugene Wingo

Donald Wingo, age 87, of Gulfport, Mississippi, passed away on Thursday, September 4, 2025.

Donald was born in Spartanburg, South Carolina, on September 7, 1937. After graduating from Union High School in South Carolina, he proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. After his service, he made Gulfport his home and worked to provide for his family, dedicating himself to both his career and those he loved.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas H. Wingo; his mother, Majorie Wingo; his beloved wife, Maureen A. Wingo; and his son, Steven R. Wingo.

Survivors include his children, Tracey Wingo (Robert Creegan), Joann Weaver (Tim), and Samantha Nelson (Russell); his sister, Nancy Williams; nine grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to everyone who offered their love, prayers, and support during this time. Also, the family would like to thank the people at Summerfield Senior Living for all of the care and support that they provided to Don.
