Donald "Dean" Montgomery

Donald ""Dean"" Montgomery Jr., age 43, passed away after a short illness on March 23, 2016 in Gulfport, MS.
He is preceded in death by his father, Donald Dean Montgomery Sr.; maternal grandparents, Woodrow W. Brand Sr. and Sarah Cornelia Brand; paternal grandparents, Howard Montgomery and Ruth Montgomery; and cousin, Christy Colbert Butler.
His survivors include his mother, Nancy Brand Montgomery; sister, Marcy Montgomery Bertling and her spouse James ""Buddy"" Bertling Jr.; 3 nieces and nephews, Josi Lane Bertling, Daniel James Bertling, and Sarah ""Gracie"" Bertling.
Dean was a prolific artist whose work is featured in Beauvoir, Jefferson Davis Presidential Library in Biloxi, MS; a proud Hall of Fame member of Jay Mohr Sports, and passionate Ole Miss and New Orleans Saints fan.
A casual celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 26th at 1:00 p.m. with a brief visitation beginning at 12:30 p.m. at the RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road Gulfport.
