Donald Linville

Donald Lee Linville, age 82, passed away peacefully on January 20, 2018. Don was born in Ripley County,Kentucky, and spent most of his youth on a farm in Ohio.  After many years of employment for NCR and other computer companies, Donald started his own successful business, Advanced Business Computers.   After years of running his business in Kenner, La., he moved to Diamondhead in 1999.  Donald was an avid golfer; loved to wet a line with his buddies; hunted as much as possible; was an enviable cook, especially his pork and sauerkraut every News Years Day. Don deeply loved being with his friends and especially his family.  He will be sorely missed by all.
He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Lena Linville; and his sister Wanda McCleary.
He leaves his wife of 27 years, Barbara Rushing Linville; his 4 children, Donna Hensley (Craig), Susan Palmer, Patty Gallohon & Keith Linville (Candice);  1 step-daughter Dawn Phillips (David);  10 grandchildren;  6 great-grandchildren;  and 1 sister,  Jean Homer.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Diamondhead Community Church, 5301 Diamondhead Circle, Diamondhead, MS. There will be a reception after the service at the church.
