Donald Johnson

Donald Karl Johnson, age 71 of Gulfport, passed away Wednesday, September 13, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Earl Johnson; brother Joel Stokes Johnson; and stepfather, William “Corky” Capps.

Donald is survived by his mother, Rachel Stokes Capps; children, Natalie Jayne Juarez (Ivan) and Jacqueline Nicole Blacklidge (Raymond); and grandchildren, Keaton Tobias Snell, Ryder Sebastian Juarez, and Benjamin Roland Juarez.

Donald was a native of Little Field, TX. He had a Doctor of Law from Ole Miss. He worked at Don Johnson, Attorney at Law, and Hard Rock Casino as a card dealer. His greatest achievement was being the best daddy, pawpaw, and son EVER! Donald enjoyed football (Ole Miss & Saints), playing pool, fishing, participated in sports, supporting his loved ones, and watching his kids and grandkids.

He was a member of Burton Memorial UMC in Gulfport, March of Dimes, and Arnold Palmer Hospital, Orlando, FL. Donald attended church with his mother and stepfather at Trinity UMC.

A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport, funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, with interment to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
