Donald Ray Hill, Sr.

Donald Ray Hill, Sr., age 85, of Gulfport, passed away on May 23, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Willie Mae and Paul Hill; and siblings Billy Hill, Bobby Hill, Kenneth Hill, Paul Cannon, Frank Hill, and Dorothy Ann Holmes. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Rita Hill; his children, Tracy Hill (Steve), Sonja Cuevas (Jarrod), and Donald Ray Hill Jr. (Debbie); grandchildren, Megan Key, Regan Patterson, Kody Ladner, Kory Ladner, Alexis Sutton, Emily Cuevas, and Noah Skolnik; and great grand children, Samuel Key, Ezra Key, Sansa Key, Ayden Patterson, Leland Patterson, Aliyah Patterson, Kaiden Patterson, Wyatt Patterson, Waylon Sutton, Grason Cuevas, and Liza Jane Ratcliff. 

Donald was born on February 5, 1939 in Memphis, Tennessee. He proudly served in the Infantry of the United States Army. He later became a self-employed brick mason. His hobbies included fishing, boxing, working on cars, gardening, caring for his loving wife, Mrs. Rita. 

His family wants to offer a thank you for everyone's prayers and kind words and remind you to spend time with your loved ones while you can. 

A visitation will be held from 10:00~11:00AM, Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, Gulfport, the funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM, with interment to follow at Saucier Cemetery.
