Donald Edward "Donny Boy" Faerber, age 16, of Gulfport, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017, in Mobile, AL.
Donny Boy was born in Gulfport, attended Gulfport schools, and was a league swimmer and member of the GHS 9 th grade football team. He was active at St. James Catholic Church and will be remembered for his loving and sweet personality. He was patient, kind, loving, and even through these difficult times, remained a faithful and gracious young man.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Donald Faerber and Edward and Roberta Caplin; and his great grandmother, Myrtle Benko.
He is survived by his father, Clayton Faerber; grandparents, Raymond and Margie Kennedy; his siblings, Del and Nancy; and host of loving extended family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at St. James Catholic Church, Gulfport, at 11:00 a.m. Friends may visit one hour prior to Mass.
Burial will be in Southern Memorial Park, Biloxi.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Costumes for a Cause, a local Gulf Coast organization that helps families battling cancer, www.c4acnonprofit.com .
